IMG 3321 8th & Gordon Pocket Park Fence

We would like to recognize a small but mighty group of volunteers that showed up on Friday evening and Saturday to tackle the demolition of a 30+ year old fenceand construction of a new wood fence at our 8th and Gordon Street pocket park. Everyone did a fantastic job from pocket park clean up, fence demolition, designing the fence, pre-cutting the wood, constructing the fence sections, installing the fence and staining the wood. Great work! See the photos attached! This project was made possible by a generous donation from Shane Fillman and Jay Keesling, and a Love Upside Allentown Mini Grant.
